14 Day Bodyweight (Cardio) Challenge

The bodyweight cardio challenge is free and open to everyone. It will begin on Wednesday January 13, 2016 and will run all the way through January 26, 2016.

Your objective for the challenge is simple: complete each daily workout that is sent to you and follow the nutrition guidelines that are provided.

It's simple, but not easy. There is both a fitness and a nutrition component that you must successfully complete if you want to see results.

Let’s take a look at each individually.

Fitness Component

Each day, you will get a new workout delivered to you in your inbox. You will get a full description of the workout and a quick video demo to show you how to perform each of the exercises.

The workouts will be quick, intense, and super effective in helping you achieve impressive conditioning and fat-loss results. They'll also be kind of fun.

All of the workouts in the challenge will be built around simple bodyweight cardio exercises so you won't need any special equipment to take part.

The only thing you will need to take part is a timer and a little bit of space. Nothing more. No need for gym memberships, complex equipment, or hours of your time.

I will provide you with more information once you sign up.

Nutrition Component

When you join, you will receive a grocery list of food items.

The foods you see on this list are the only foods that you will be allowed to eat over the course of the 21-day challenge. This is optional, of course, but the best results come from a combined (fitness + nutrition) approach.

Don't worry about being limited. There are over 100 items on the grocery list that you’ll be able to choose from to build delicious and highly nutritious meals.

JANUARY 13 UPDATE:

The 14 Day Bodyweight Cardio Challenge is now underway and closed to new participants. If you would like to be notified of upcoming fitness challenges, please click the button below to sign up to the notification list. Thanks!

What you get when you join

Once you sign up, you’ll get an email with some important challenge details. Make sure that you read it thoroughly.

You’ll get access to a private Facebook group which you can use to share your progress and keep yourself (and each other) accountable.

You’ll get access to a fitness and nutrition tracker that you can use to keep tabs on your workout completion over the course of the challenge. It will also serve as a great accountability tool.

And you’ll get access to the grocery shopping list that you will be required to follow if you want to get the most out of this challenge.

Again, all of this will become more clear once you sign up.

Commonly Asked Questions

Can I do this if I'm a newbie?

Yes. This fitness challenge is designed for all fitness levels. Each workout you get will come with options for making the exercises more or less difficult (to suit your specific fitness needs).

What if I don't know how to do some of the exercises?

No problem. Each workout comes with a quick video demo to show you exactly what each of the exercises look like. If further instruction is needed, I'll provide you links to other resources.

Do I need access to a gym to participate?

Absolutely not. The workouts I’m going to be sending you can be done anywhere. At home. In the park. In your office. In the airport. Anywhere.

Do I have to follow the nutrition guidelines?

The nutrition guidelines are optional, but if you want the best results, I highly encourage you to stick to them. No matter how hard you push in the gym, you can't out-train poor food choices.

What if you have specific dietary restrictions?

There are over 100 items on the grocery list to choose from so more than likely you will be able to find something that fits your lifestyle. If you have some very specific dietary restrictions, please talk to your doctor before making any changes.

Final Notes

I’m really excited to get our first fitness challenge of 2015 started.

Again, the first day of the challenge is January 13, 2016 so make sure that you sign up before that date and take care of all the details that are sent your way.

In the meantime, use the next week to get yourself ready both mentally and physically. We’ve got a lot of work ahead of us, but it will be more than worth it once it’s all said and done.

Finally, do me a favor and help me spread the word about this challenge. Share this post with your friends and family. Let’s get as many people involved as we can. I'd really appreciate it.

See you on the inside!

Hello Srdjan,

What if I only use the jump rope for the next 6 months and dont do weights or strength exercises…

Is is compulsory to fit in strength exercises and weights along with the jump rope or will only a jump rope suffice the need of toning the body?

Simeon Panda - January 31, 2016
