In the past year alone, I’ve probably hosted over half a dozen of these challenges and each and every one has been an incredibly surreal experience.
We’ve had thousands of amazing people participate from all across the globe and, to this day, I continue to be blown away by the insane level of hard work and perseverance that people put into each challenge.
Since I’ve started hosting these challenges, it’s hard to say that anything has had quite the same positive effect on my readers (you) and I want to leverage the momentum we’ve built to provide you with something even better.
That is why today I’m extremely excited to show you what I’ve been working on over the past few months. Allow me to introduce you to our brand spankin’ new Bloom to Fit Private Fitness Challenges.
Let me show you what it’s all about.
So why a private fitness challenge?
Better question is why not?
The original Bloom to Fit challenges were created with one purpose in mind: to inspire people to take action. And I want to continue doing that on a much more consistent basis.
I want to show you that a simple one-day-at-a-time approach and an enthusiastic support group is all you need to achieve your health and fitness goals.
Who are the private fitness challenges for?
The private fitness challenges are designed for people who are looking for a fun, engaging, and highly effective way of staying fit and healthy all year long.
If you’ve taken part in any of the free 21 day challenges I’ve put together in the past, then you already know what you’re getting yourself into. Now I want to offer you an even more engaging experience on an ongoing basis.
Each and every month you will get access to a unique fitness challenge that is built around some of the most simple and effective exercises on the planet.
You will also get to meet and work with people from all around the world, master some of the most versatile training tools, learn how to implement simple nutrition strategies, and rid yourself of expensive gym memberships and complicated equipment.
This is not just an invitation to a challenge but to a fantastic community and a simple way of staying healthy and fit all year long.
How is the private fitness challenge structured?
Private fitness challenges will differ from our regular challenges in four ways:
- They will happen more frequently (one every month)
- They will be shorter (each challenge will be 14 days long)
- They will have more moving pieces (nutrition, flexibility, etc.)
- They will not be free (but completely affordable)
Let me dig into each one of these really quick.
My goal is to run a new private fitness challenge every single month. I know. It’s somewhat ambitious. But I owe it to you guys to give it a shot and I really think that we can pull it off if we work together.
Each challenge will start at the beginning of the month and run for 14 days.
Name aside, the challenges will no longer be just about fitness.
You will get access to a nutrition component, a stretching component, and possibly other “add-ons” that are challenge-specific. These extras will evolve as we discover what works and what doesn’t.
Finally, let’s get to the cost.
I’ve thought about this for some time and I’ve decided to make the private challenges paid for three reasons:
1. I will continue hosting free 21 day challenges.
If the private fitness challenges are not for you, no worries. I will continue running our free 21 day challenges as I always have.The private challenges, again, are for those looking for a more consistent solution.
2. You’re getting access to something amazing here.
I put in a lot of time and effort into making these challenges worthwhile experiences for all my members.
And based on the amazing feedback I’ve received from hundreds of participants, I’ve been doing a pretty good job of putting everything together for you guys.
With the private fitness challenges, you can expect the same level of quality, if not better. You can expect the same level of interaction, engagement, feedback, inspiration, and support. I will give you everything you need to succeed.
3. You value things more when you invest in them.
Every time I run a free 21 day challenge, I always have a number of people who go through the process of signing up and then never do a single repetition.
Here’s the thing..
When something is free, we tend to assign less value and importance to it. It’s just human nature.
On the other hand, when we invest our time and money into something, we appreciate it more. We feel more compelled to use the product/service. And we become more committed to the journey.
There it is. The key word: commitment.
By putting something on the line – even if it’s something small – you are much more likely to do what you signed up to do.
And if you don’t?
Well then you’ll have to deal with the wrath of the tribe you joined. Kidding. Kind of. But if you happen to start falling off the wagon, you’ll have me and a whole group of amazing people right there to get you back on your feet.
That’s the beauty of having an incredible support group behind you.
So how much will it cost to participate?
Well, this is where we’re going to have a little bit of fun.
I’m going to run a little experiment to start things off: the first challenge will be a pay what you want challenge with a minimum entrance fee of $1.
That’s right. You pay what you want to take part in the private fitness challenge. You pay what you honestly think the benefits of participating in the challenge are worth to you.
Eventually, as I add more features to the private challenges and see what works and what doesn’t, we may switch to a set fee structure. But for now let’s just have some fun with it.
Pay what you want is the fee for every new challenge. Done.
What do you need to participate?
Bloom to Fit has always been built around the idea of simplicity.
By stripping away all the fancy gadgets, overly complex equipment, expensive gym memberships, and wacky diets, we’re left with what works.
The private fitness challenges will follow the same principal as our regular 21 day challenges. They will be built around simple training tools and effective exercises that are designed to work using your body’s natural movements.
But to get the most out of the private challenges, you will need a few simple tools.
The one that you will absolutely need is also the one you already have: your own body. So you’re already good to go. But there are a few other training tools that you will find useful: kettlebell, jump rope, yoga mat, sandbag, foam roller, and a timer.
And what if you don’t have the tools?
No worries. Each challenge will offer a list of modifications for people who lack skill, strength, and equipment. I fully understand that we are not all at the same level physically and financially and I will do my best to accommodate to all levels.
Just keep in mind that it’s not about the tools. If you are willing to put in the effort with whatever you have available to you, then you belong to this group. Period.
What can you expect from participating?
Taking part in our monthly private fitness challenges comes with a few nifty perks and benefits.
Aside from becoming my new best friend and getting to meet and train with some amazing people from all across the globe, you can expect to experience at least a few of the following:

When is the first private fitness challenge?
The first private challenge will be held this March.
The details about the challenge will go live at some point next week and you will have until March 02, 2015 to sign up.
